Shuttle rack

Shuttle racking is a high-density, semi-automated intelligent warehousing solution. The following is its detailed description: 1. System composition: It mainly consists of the steel shelf body, the tracks laid under the shelf boards, and the self-moving shuttle vehicles. Usually, it is also equipped with a WMS warehouse management system to achieve full-process digital control. 2. Working Principle: The forklift places the goods at the front end of the rack aisle guide rail. The shuttle vehicle carries the palletized goods and runs on the guide rail, transporting the goods to the designated storage location or taking them out from the storage location and transporting them to the front end of the aisle, where they are then picked up by the forklift. Multiple alleys can share one shuttle vehicle. 3. Structural features: Generally made of cold-rolled steel, the shelf structure has strong stability, and its space utilization rate can reach over 80%, making it suitable for storing large quantities of the same type of goods. 4. Performance advantages: Supports multiple operation modes such as first-in-first-out or first-in-last-out, and can be flexibly switched. Shuttle vehicles can operate in coordination with multiple vehicles, significantly reducing the time for goods to enter and exit the warehouse. Forklifts do not need to enter the aisle, reducing the risk of collision, and are equipped with protective devices such as temperature sensors, smoke sensors and emergency stop buttons. Integrated with the WMS system, it can automatically identify goods information and achieve visual inventory monitoring and data traceability.
